For a more structured look: choose cotton twill, cotton sateen, lightweight denim, linen with some body, or lightweight suiting. These fabrics highlight the A-line silhouette and button detail.

For a softer, more fluid finish: choose viscose, crepe, Tencel™, linen-viscose blends, cupro, or viscose satin. These fabrics give the skirt more movement and a graceful drape.

Avoid very stiff or bulky fabrics, as they can make the front overlap feel too heavy. Very stretchy fabrics and jerseys are also not recommended because they do not provide enough stability for the wrap construction and button closure.
