Our PDF sewing patterns are delivered in various formats:

• A3 upon request. If you purchase a pattern and need an A3 file, we’ll create it in your preferred size upon request.
• PDF projector files upon request. If you purchase a pattern and need a projector file, we’ll create it for your preferred size upon request.

If you need a different format for a specific size, we can accommodate your request. Just let us know your needs, and we will gladly assist you with a personalized solution.

Please note : all seam allowances are included in the pattern.

This skirt is designed for medium-weight woven fabrics that provide structure at the waistband while allowing the skirt to drape beautifully and hold its flared shape.

The ideal fabric should have:
• Medium weight
• Good structure
• Slight body (not too fluid)
• No stretch

Recommended Fabrics

For a structured, elegant look (like the sample):

• Wool crepe

• Wool blend suiting

• Twill (cotton or wool)

• Gabardine

• Heavy viscose twill

• Structured linen or linen blend

• Medium-weight cotton sateen

These fabrics highlight the high waistband and allow the pleats and flare to fall beautifully without collapsing.

For a more casual version

• Medium-weight non-stretch denim

• Canvas (not too stiff)

• Cotton drill

• Corduroy

• Brushed cotton

These fabrics create a more everyday silhouette while maintaining structure.

For a softer, more fluid version

• Viscose twill

• Lyocell twill

• Soft wool blend

The skirt will have more movement and a slightly softer drape while remaining elegant.

Fabrics to Avoid

• Lightweight fabrics (voile, chiffon, lawn)

• Very fluid fabrics (silk satin, thin crepe)

• Stretch fabrics

• Very stiff, heavy fabrics

Fabrics that are too thin will not support the waistband properly, and overly fluid fabrics will reduce the defined flare.

We indicate, as a reference, the necessary quantity for a fabric 150CM wide /59” with a directional print/nap for a size XXXL:
3.70 meters / 145 inches

The amount of fabric needed for your pattern depends on the pattern size, the width and design of the fabric you plan to use.
