How to Print Your Sewing Pattern
Follow these steps to print at the correct scale and assemble your pieces perfectly.
01
Check how many pages you need
Open your pattern PDF and check the total page count shown on screen. Make sure you have enough paper — and enough colour ink — loaded before you start.
02
Choose your format & print
Select the format that matches your paper size or setup. Whichever you choose, print in colour — the assembly markings are colour-coded.
New to PDF patterns? Read our full guide to printing and assembling — test square, print settings, folding and joining the sheets, with illustrations.
03
Verify the scale
Before printing everything, print the page with the 5 cm / 1.96″ test square and measure it. It must match exactly — adjust your printer scale if needed.
If alignment seems off, test two consecutive pages at slightly different scales before printing the full set.
Happy sewing!
