Avoid very heavy or bulky fabrics, as they may create excessive thickness around the collar, pockets, and seams.
IMPORTANT: If using coated, laminated, or waterproof fabrics, always test stitching, pressing, and interfacing on a fabric scrap. Some technical fabrics may be damaged by high temperatures or repeated needle punctures.
Waterproofing note: Water-resistant or waterproof fabric alone does not guarantee a waterproof finished garment. Stitching creates needle holes, so additional seam sealing may be necessary to improve water resistance. Choose a sealing method compatible with your fabric.
