Our PDF sewing patterns are delivered in various formats:

• A0
• US Letter
  
• A3 upon request. If you purchase a pattern and need an A3 file, we’ll create it in your preferred size upon request.
• PDF projector files upon request. If you purchase a pattern and need a projector file, we’ll create it for your preferred size upon request.

If you need a different format for a specific size, we can accommodate your request. Just let us know your needs, and we will gladly assist you with a personalized solution.

Please note : all seam allowances are included in the pattern.

The Aude pants are designed for woven fabrics that provide fluidity through the leg while maintaining enough structure at the waistband and hips. As the cut is fitted at the thighs, fabric choice is essential to ensure both comfort and elegance. The fabric will strongly influence the drape and movement of the flared silhouette.

Ideal Fabric Characteristics
Lightweight to medium weight
Soft drape
Smooth or slightly textured surface
No stretch if the fabric is very supple, or slight stretch (maximum 2–3% elastane) for added comfort at the thighs

For a Fluid and Elegant Version
• Woven viscose
• Woven Tencel / Lyocell
• Lightweight crepe
• Polyester crepe
• Soft satin
• Silk crepe
• Cupro

These fabrics enhance the flare and create beautiful movement with every step while remaining comfortable through the thighs.

For a Structured and Tailored Version
• Soft gabardine
• Suiting fabric (poly-viscose or wool blend)
• Medium-weight twill
• Lightweight wool
• Slightly stretch suiting fabric

These options create a more defined silhouette while maintaining an elegant flared line. For extra comfort, choose a version with slight stretch or sufficient softness.

For a Casual Everyday Version
• Lightweight denim
• Light stretch denim
• Soft cotton twill
• Chambray
• Soft linen or linen blends

Choose fabrics that are not too stiff to avoid pulling at the thighs and to allow the flare to fall naturally.

Fabrics to Avoid
• Very heavy fabrics that restrict movement
• Thick, rigid canvas
• Heavy non-stretch denim
• Knit fabrics
• Extremely lightweight fabrics lacking structure

We indicate, as a reference, the necessary quantity for a fabric 150CM wide /59” with a directional print/nap for a size XXXL:
2.30 meters / 90 inches

The amount of fabric needed for your pattern depends on the pattern size, the width and design of the fabric you plan to use.
