🧵 Step-by-Step Instructions

1 – Sew the zipper: First, sew your invisible zipper to the garment as usual.

2 – Pin the neckline: Pin the facing and/or lining to the neckline, right sides together. Make sure to align everything properly.

3- Sew the neckline: Stitch all around the neckline.

4 – Trim the seam: Trim the seam allowance around the neckline.

5 – Understitch: Press the seam allowance toward the facing or lining. Understitch a few millimeters from the seam, on the facing/lining side.

6 – Attach facing/lining to zipper: Pin it right sides together with the garment, sandwiching the zipper in between.

7 – Sew the zipper: Use a zipper foot to sew along the zipper tape on both sides

8 – Zip up: Zip the zipper up to the top of the garment.

9 – Close the lining: Pin the lining pieces together, right sides facing. Starting from the zipper seam, sew down to the hem to close the lining.
