How to Sew a Neck Facing in a Garment with Plackets
A – Fold the plackets by 1 cm/0’4″ to the wrong side. Press. Then fold again by 3 cm/1’2″ to the right side of the garment and press in place.
B – Fold the plackets to the right side and align the neckline facing on top.
C – Stitch with a 1 cm/0’4″ seam allowance, then clip along the neckline.
D – Press the seam allowance towards the facing and topstitch 1–2 mm/0’04”-0’08” from the seam to secure it.
E – Turn the placket right side out, push the corners, and press thoroughly.
